In a recent Geography lesson on waterfalls, Year 7 students used Seamus Heaney’s famous poem, Waterfall, to explore the power and beauty of waterfalls through poetry. They learned how waterfalls are formed in rivers as part of an ongoing erosion of soft and hard rocks, which eventually carves out gorges, giving them an understanding of the natural forces and power behind these dramatic landscapes.
Recently, Campion School’s library was delighted to receive a generous £1,000 donation from luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin.
In 2025, Campion successfully secured funding through the Department for Education’s Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) to carry out significant upgrades to one of its older buildings (see picture).
On Sunday, 8 March, a major milestone was achieved at the Midlands Regional Brass Band Championships, as Cubbington Silver Band delivered an outstanding performance to secure first place and be crowned Midlands Champions. Among the performers was Campion student and percussion player, Leanne Fernandes, who contributed to the band’s dynamic and powerful sound throughout the competition. Competing against some of the region’s finest brass bands, the group impressed the judges with their musicality, precision and teamwork.

Sixth Form Health and Social Care students recently took part in a vital CPR and defibrillator training session delivered by the OurJay Foundation.
Sixth Form Geography students recently stepped out of the classroom and into the community on a mini-field trip, to the village of Harbury, as part of their Diverse Places study unit.

Students and staff at Campion School are celebrating an outstanding achievement following the recent Warwickshire Youth Parliament elections. A total of eleven Campion students put themselves forward, demonstrating enthusiasm, determination and a strong commitment to representing young people in their community.
On 13th March, a group of Campion Sixth Form students were invited to participate in the Midlands Regional Debate Competition for the European Youth Parliament (EYP). This prestigious event brought together schools from across the region to debate key political and social issues.
