Dear Parent/Carer,

Information in the Event of a School Closure Due to Severe Weather

With winter upon us, I would like to remind you of the school’s procedures and how you can obtain information about whether the school is closed or not due to severe weather conditions.

We will always attempt to keep the school open during periods of severe weather. However, in extreme events, we must consider the safety of our pupils, staff and parents, which may lead to a decision to close.

School Notification

In the event that a decision is made early in the morning to close the school, our procedures are as follows:
 - Information is sent to the Warwickshire County Council School Closure Website (see below)
 - A message will be sent to all parents/carers from Campion School on Groupcall

 - A message will be sent to all parents/carers from Campion School on epraise, which means it is very important that you sign up for epraise and enable push notifications if you haven’t done so already

 - The school’s website (www.campion.warwickshire.sch.uk) will display a closure message.
 - The school’s Twitter feed (@CampionSchool) will display a message
 - The school’s Facebook page (@campionsch) will display a message

Please continue to monitor the above information channels, on a daily basis, for further updates on whether the school will remain closed.
