The results are in! 🎉

As part of our Biology Week celebrations (8th–18th October 2026), our Year 7 pupils were challenged to put their creativity and scientific knowledge to the test by designing and making their very own model cells.

With nearly 30 fantastic entries, the standard was incredibly high, and judging was certainly no easy task! We were blown away by the imagination, attention to detail and effort that went into every single model. 🌟

After much deliberation, we are delighted to announce our top five winners! 🏆

🥇 1st Place – Zyan O – 30 merits

🥈 2nd Place – Bronwyn W – 20 merits

🥉 3rd Place – Eleanor T – 15 merits

🏅 4th Place – Sebastian D – 10 merits

🏅 5th Place – Cody R – 5 merits

👏 A huge congratulations to our winners!

Of course, we couldn't let all that hard work go unrecognised! Every pupil who entered will receive merits and House points in recognition of their creativity, effort and enthusiasm. Certificates of participation will also be presented during rewards assemblies from 19th October. 📜⭐

A massive thank you and well done to everyone who took part. We are incredibly proud of our budding scientists, and you have certainly made Biology Week one to remember! 💙🔬
