SEND Staff

SENCo - The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator - Alison Brown

Our SENCO Alison Brown, is also an Associate Assistant Headteacher and has an important role to undertake with our Senior Leadership Team, head teacher - Mr Jassa Panesar - and the governing body, in determining the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in the school. Her overview of all SEND issues includes a delivery of rigorous training for teachers and staff which enables everyone working at Campion school to be SEND-aware and able to work knowledgeably and confidently with SEND pupils.

This also means that all members of staff working with your child in school can be made aware of their individual needs and /or conditions and what specific adjustments need to be made to enable them to be included and make progress. The SENco and Assistant SENco ensure that all staff working with your child in school are supported in delivering the planned work / programme for your child, so they can achieve the best possible progress. This may involve the use of additional adults, outside specialist help and specially planned work and resources.
